Finally made it for a tour in the castle......very busy gearing up for The Tattoo.

British Churchill Tank Operated by Canada on D-Day
Was stuck and buried in sand on the beach since D-Day and was only discovered and restored A couple decades ago.


Town where the portable harbour (Port Winston) was built starting on D-Day






Utah beach looking left ...clear view for firing.

Pill boxes on Utah beach are still as they where on D-Day. 
Many where set up all along the cliffs above the beach with a clear views 
all along the beach.

There are nearly 10,000 American Soldiers buried at the American Cemetery Normandy.



The grass is hand cut around all the graves.
