A bit of rain creates waterfalls everywhere. 
 Hope Slide, Hope, BC
The Hope Slide was the largest landslide ever recorded in Canada. It occurred in the morning hours of January 9, 1965 in the Nicolum Valley in the Cascade Mountains near Hope, British Columbia, and killed four people. The volume of rock involved in the landslide has been estimated at 47 million cubic metres.

The smoke from the forest fires that had just started block out the sun and also dropped ash on us all day. That is the sun.

The smoke certainly put a damping on your viewing pleasure, outside activities and photography.

The smoke was quite as heavy in the Jasper area when we visited.


 At least we had the luck to view some wild life.
