We had visited 5 years previous with friends and unfortunately one of our friends is no longer with us.

British Churchill Tank Operated by Canada on D-Day
Was stuck and buried in sand on the beach since D-Day and was only discovered and restored A couple decades ago.

Many where set up all along the cliffs above the beach with a clear views
all along the beach.

There are nearly 10,000 American Soldiers buried at the American Cemetery Normandy.
